Here's a sneak peek at one of the general sessions we'll be hosting at 8 AM, October 23, 2012. Slated as the first closing session on the final day of the symposium, ''Effective and Efficient Management of Wound Pain'' will be presented by Mary Mihalyo, PharmD, BS, CGP, BCPS, founder and president of CoPs, LLC, and assistant professor of Pharmacy Practice, Duquesne University, Mylan School of Pharmacy, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. A challenge that all clinicians face in their daily practice, the effective, efficient management of wound care pain is essential. This session will focus on improving patient satisfaction and outcomes through appropriate management of wound-related pain.
