Guidelines for prevention and treatment of asthma provide few recommendations about diet. As the incidence of asthma rapidly increases, environmental factors such as lack of breast-feeding, poor diet, decreased physical activity, and obesity are being studied to determine their possible role in asthma. In the meantime, patients ask for advice. We present 3 cases with evidence-based recommendations.
