Nutrition Today regrets that the article "Glycemic Index: The Measure and Its Variability-The True State of the Science," which ran on page 214 in the September/October 2012 issue of Nutrition Today was not shared in time with Dr Julie Jones, whose article, "Glycemic Index: State of the Science," appeared on page 207 in the same issue, so she was unable to write a timely response to some of the points raised. However, Dr Jones plans to so in the near future, and her reply will be published online at Nutrition Today's Web site in the "Publish Ahead of Print" section as soon as it is received, and in the subsequent print issue of Nutrition Today.
