Suzette Cardin, PhD, RN, FAAN, will retire from the Editorial Board of Dimensions of Critical Care Nursing this fall. It has been our privilege to have her as our colleague and friend.
Suzette is assistant dean of Student Affairs at UCLA School of Nursing and has served as an Editorial Board Member for Dimensions of Critical Care Nursing since 1995. Her many accomplishments include success as a critical care nurse, professor, editor, author, reviewer, researcher, and a fellow in the American Academy of Nursing. Suzette has been an active member of the American Association of Critical Care Nurses, throughout her career, serving on the Leadership Development Workgroup since 1999.
Suzette has an amazing profession profile; she has contributed to nursing in so many ways, while being a successful wife, mother, mentor, and friend to many. We will miss her insightful reviews, scholarly articles, and creative vision for DCCN.
It is with profound gratitude that we say goodbye and wish her joyful travels, long days with family and friends, and our everlasting friendship.
