Abstract

The public's understanding of health and nutrition is becoming increasingly muddled because scientific findings are often communicated out of context or by those who "spin" the science to suit their special interests. This report encourages qualified nutrition experts, such as scientists and health professionals, to proactively communicate nutrition research so the public receives sound and meaningful messages.
