The article, The Miracle of Henry the Hospice Cat, by Richard J. Kedanis published in Holistic Nursing Practice 30 (6) 379-381, November/December, 2016, erroneously reported that Oscar, one of the first hospice cats, "...met his demise supposedly at the hands of a sick or disgruntled person in a nursing home." This statement is false and was reported in an article that has since been removed from the Internet. Oscar is alive and well.
