This book is written primarily for advanced practice nurses although others may benefit from its contents. There are 14 chapters. A large appendix (66 pages) is included to help the reader to accurately understand concepts and terms. There are 14 additional nurse contributors from various areas of the United States so that concepts can be stated and understood nationwide.

 

The growing practice of nurses with advanced preparation-and their successes-is a cue to future developments and the need for advanced preparation to ensure and enlarge the effective role of nurses in primary care. This is satisfying to patients and is open to richer development.
