I would like to take this opportunity to formally acknowledge and congratulate the recipients of the 2017 Articles of the Year! Articles published in 2017, specifically Volumes 13(1)-13(4), were considered for each of the awards. The award-winning articles were selected by members of the Editorial Board based on their innovation, significance, approach, potential impact, and overall writing.

Award recipients were acknowledged during the International Association of Forensic Nurses' Award Ceremony, during the 2018 International Conference on Forensic Science and Practice held October 24-27, 2018, at the Peppermill Reno Hotel, in Reno, ND. Congratulations to these worthy recipients!
