The old lady sat in the hospital bed

The old lady griped, fussed, then said

Nurse!! You run all day, up and down that darn hall

How come you don't come the second I call?

Why can't you have, more time for me?

How many patients a day, do you see?

Why can't you sit and read to me?

How come you ALWAYS, have somewhere else to be?

This is a nice hospital, (my family said-)

So-I want silk sheets on my hospital bed

And-about dinner, I'll have lobster today,

With a robust red wine, the meal's better that way.

I'll need a 50-inch, HD TV-

And I want all my friends, to watch it with me.

Paint the walls of my room, a lovely sky blue

Oh, my window's too small, and I don't like the view!!

I'm so glad that soon, I'll be leaving this place

Someone new, can have this awful space,

And when I come back, I'll ask to be-

Here, on this floor, because YOU, would miss me!!
