From cannabis and personalized nutrition to indigenous diets and the interaction between vitamin K and blood thinner medications, Nutrition 2019 was the place to hear about the myth-busting, groundbreaking research that will change the way we think about nutrition. Don't miss out when ASN takes it to the next level at Nutrition 2020 in Seattle, the city where new ideas and innovation abound.

"Nutrition 2020 will offer the latest advances in nutrition and related sciences and will build upon the exhilaration attendees experienced in Baltimore at Nutrition 2019," said ASN president Richard Mattes, MPH, PhD, RD. "When nearly 4000 of the best and brightest nutrition scientists and clinicians come together, you can expect significant discussions and connections."

In addition to oral presentations and poster presentations, researchers had a new option at Nutrition 2019 for presenting their abstracts: The Poster Theater Flash Sessions, 90-minute sessions that comprised several 4-minute poster presentations.

"The presentation of new science is at the core of ASN's vision, which is to improve health around the world through high-quality nutrition science and practice," Dr Mattes said. "The Nutrition conference offers fresh ways of sharing that science and encouraging the conversations that will put the science into practice."

Nutrition 2020 will feature more than 100 sessions covering 6 tracks offering the latest science from the many disciplines of nutrition, including basic science, clinical and translational nutrition, global and public health, psychology, environment, technology, and more. The event also offers featured sessions; presentations of new, original research; award lectures; numerous workshops; interactive exhibits; alumni events; career development activities; networking opportunities; and the HUB expo hall.

Nutrition 2020 will be held on May 30 to June 2, 2020, in Seattle. The abstract submission site will open in October 2019, and registration will open in January 2020.
