Abstract

Although impairments in sensation and perception are not typically among the most prominent following stroke, they are important determinants of outcome. As such, they merit evaluation and treatment. This article briefly summarizes research literature addressing the evaluation and treatment of these impairments. Although far from adequate, the literature does provide some direction as to how these impairments can be approached.
