Abstract
The physical facilities of patient care units must be maintained to ensure an environment conducive to recovery of patients and the efficient delivery of patient care. Often this is a challenge for engineering and nursing departments. The authors describe the development, implementation, and evaluation of the Nursing Engineering Ambassador Team (NEAT), a unique collaboration between these 2 departments.
