Designed for clinical and clean-room environments, the glass-free applicator incorporates a swab and liquid solution in 1 package. Once the package seal is snapped, the disposable swab is saturated and ready for use. Drips or spills are eliminated because the swab is not dipped in a separate solution.
The Puritan Popule is available with 3 different solutions. The Puritan X-PressPrep contains 70% isopropyl alcohol and 30% deionized water for use in clinical, first aid, surgical, and clean-room settings. The Puritan Popule Povidone Iodine is filled with 10% antiseptic povidoneiodine solution, designed for medical and surgical settings. To treat minor wounds, cuts, and abrasions, the Puritan Popule LiquiShield thin film skin protectant contains a medical-grade liquid cyanoacrylate-based monomer that forms a layer to protect skin from friction and moisture.

Available in 20 to 30 mm Hg and 30 to 40 mm Hg, the product allows patients with serious edema to be treated with ready-to-wear stockings that will stay up and provide effective medical compression treatment. The stocking is made with double-covered spandex yarns to help provide more comfort, breathability, and durability and to make it easier to put on due to reduced friction. Its wide silicone band helps prevent the top of the stockings from rolling, and the open-toe style allows many more patients with serious edema to be fitted.
