Attending a poster session at a professional conference is intellectually stimulating and enjoyable because you can read about current innovations and trends in nursing education and learn more from the authors. It sparks new ideas and also challenges educators to integrate some of them into their own practice. However, it is often difficult to view all desired posters and obtain the level of information needed for adoption. If you want more space on a professional poster to provide information in more depth and/or share examples of your work in practice, consider using quick response (QR) codes. The QR codes are black patterned dots and lines that hold all types of data.1 I recently used them on a poster to link to more detailed information about my work that I first entered on our university's blog software, WordPress. Following the 4 simple steps outlined in the Supplemental Digital Content, Table, http://links.lww.com/NE/A733, I was able to successfully create and place 2 QR codes on my poster linking to the blogs. Many conference participants were enthusiastic about my work, scanned the QR codes, and read more deeply about how my ideas had been put into practice. The QR codes created engagement. My poster won honorable mention, likely because of the ability to provide concrete examples. Additionally, my 2 blogs each received 22 unique visitors from conference attendees.
