November is National Family Caregivers Month-an annual effort to recognize, support, and educate family caregivers and raise awareness about the issues they face. In acknowledging the additional challenges caregivers are grappling with during the COVID-19 pandemic, this month's theme is "Caregiving in Crisis." In this issue, we begin a new installment of Supporting Family Caregivers: No Longer Home Alone, our ongoing series in collaboration with the AARP Public Policy Institute. The series offers practical guidance, videos, and tear sheets nurses can use to help caregivers manage their family member's health care. Read the first article in the new installment, "Home Oxygen Therapy," for information to use in educating caregivers and supplemental oxygen users.
