Abstract
Clinical studies document that many patients use their inhaled medications incorrectly. Healthcare provider misuse also has been documented. Observation and teaching are essential for patients with chronic lung disease for whom inhaled beta2 sympathomimetic, anticholinergic, and corticosteroid medications are prescribed.
