Artist and breast cancer survivor Coco Larrain says that You'll Be OK, I Said to the Mirror documents "the experience of undergoing chemotherapy and its physical results. The drawing represents my fears-mortality looking me in the eyes. The act of drawing was meditative and calming. It focused my attention on the tasks of seeing and recording, rather than on the usual all-consuming fears and worries." For more on Larrain, see On the Cover, page 30.
