The National Pressure Ulcer Advisory Panel (NPUAP) has elected new officers. Joyce Black, PhD, RN, CWCN, CPSN, is the new president. Dr Black is an Associate Professor at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, College of Nursing, Omaha, NE. Other officers are vice president, Diane Langemo, PhD, RN, FAAN, Distinguished Professor Emeritus and Nurse Consultant at the University of North Dakota College of Nursing, Grand Forks, ND; secretary, Becky Dorner, RD, LD, owner and President of Becky Dorner and Associates, Nutrition Consulting Services, Akron, OH; and treasurer, Barbara J. Braden, PhD, RN, FAAN, Dean of the Graduate School at Creighton University, Omaha, NE.
