Survey results confirm popularity of telehealth. A new Morning Consult poll finds that telehealth, which was widely deployed during COVID-19, has become a popular health care option with both practitioners and patients. Over 90% of health care providers and 80% of patients support continuing the service after the pandemic. Most health care practitioners (84%) agree that providers should be able to provide telehealth services across state lines, an option put in place during the pandemic that some states are moving to rescind. Of note for nurses, about 80% of both providers and patients support allowing NPs to "practice to the full extent of their training, including through telehealth."
