DIETARY GUIDELINE ADVISORY COMMITTEE NAMED

The Departments of Health and Human Services and the US Department of Agriculture have just announced the membership of the 2025 Dietary Guidelines Advisory Committee (DGAC).

 

The chair is Sarah Booth, PhD, Senior Scientist and Director of the Jean Mayer USDA Human Nutrition Research Center on Aging at Tufts University. She is joined by Vice Chair Angela Odoms-Young, PhD, MS, of Cornell University. The members bring an impressive range of expertise to the endeavor. The committee started off with a bang and has already had the first of many meetings.
