"Pugilist Nurse" (Profiles, July 2006) was distasteful. What a contradiction: a nurse, a caregiver, who chooses to inflict pain or possible injury on another human being in the violent sport of boxing. Ms. Mooney can defend her "passion" for boxing, but I don't understand or accept her comparison of boxing skills and nursing skills.
