SCARIEST MOMENT OR EXPERIENCE
A seasoned nurse giving me my first solo report on a telemetry unit between bites of her sandwich: "The patient's heart rate is 33, the pads are on, and the crash cart is waiting in the hall outside her room. Have a good shift."
BEST VACATION
On the Oregon coast with my girls, waking up to the smell and sound of the surf.
