Article Content

This presentation will provide information and data regarding the utilization of a complete electronic medical record process (similar to the SGNA minimum data set) within an endoscopy center for the last three years. Discussion will include cost efficiencies, documentation accuracy including the pre-op, intra-op, and post-op components, quality monitors, continuity of patient care, staffing issues, and implementation of these processes in a free standing endoscopy center. This session will also include discussion regarding completion and content of JCAHO and AAAHC requirements related to the EMR.
