* Nonprofit Organization. The APWCA has been designated as a nonprofit organization, allowing the group to keep annual dues low as other income options are available, according to Steven R. Kravitz, DPM, FAPWCA, executive director of the APWCA. "The nonprofit status can assist the association by enhancing support through companies, foundations, and other resources that work with tax-exempt organizations. This represents another aspect of growth for the association as we explore new opportunities for the APWCA to expand its role as a vital force in wound care," he said.

* Certified Nurses. The Visiting Nurse Association of Greater Philadelphia is proud to indicate that all of its nurses providing wound care are certified in wound care and all of them have become diplomates of the APWCA.
