Abstract

Caring group and ropes course experiences were integrated into the first semester of an upper-division baccalaureate nursing curriculum to help students learn caring and teamwork. The authors discuss their teaching strategies and outcomes that promoted caring, group cohesion, closeness, trust, teamwork, and support among nursing students.
