If you share the number one fear in humans, speaking before a group, this session will provide you with helpful hints for overcoming this fear, and many tools for delivering a successful program. A very interactive workshop, you will learn how to plan and prepare your presentation, evaluate your audience, learn different techniques for teaching adults, and receive ideas on how to maximize your audiovisual (AV) tools. Included in the session will be an in-depth look at creating a PowerPoint presentation, with many helpful hints on maximizing its impact on your audience. Bring your ideas, and the class will create a PowerPoint presentation from scratch. You can have fun speakng to a group, whether it is a few of your peers, or a large audience at SGNA. This session will show you how.
