This session will cover the disease processes leading to liver/small bowel transplantation, indications for transplantation, the evaluation process, immediate post-operative care, and the outpatient needs of a pediatric liver/small bowel transplant patient. It will also briefly discuss intestinal rehabilitation with short gut in children with liver disease.
