25 Years and Still Going Strong!

Come September, we look forward to celebrating the exciting silver anniversary of the Clinical Symposium on Advances in Skin & Wound Care with all of you! Join us September 30 to October 3, 2010, at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel & Convention Center in Nashville, Tennessee, for this quarter-of-a-century milestone. The 25th annual clinical symposium will once again bring together cutting-edge topics, wound care practitioners, industry leaders, and faculty from across the globe for stimulating educational sessions and vendor exhibits.

Among this year's planned lecture topics are pressure ulcer prevention and treatment guidelines, legal trends in wound care, reimbursement updates, what's new in wound care, skin tears, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, periwound management, palliative care, Charcot foot, diabetic foot ulcer care, managing wound pain, and much more. Specific program information will be provided in upcoming issues of Advances in Skin & Wound Care.

In addition to the educational aspect of the symposium, there will be plenty of opportunities to network and to just kick up your heels and have some fun in Music City. Following the opening sessions on September 30, 2010, the grand opening of the exhibit hall will take place, allowing participants to visit exhibits, meet with poster presenters, and talk with fellow wound care professionals. The evening of October 1, 2010, will play host to a "Nashville Fling" to celebrate the symposium's silver anniversary. On October 2, 2010, conference attendees can enjoy another social and educational event at the networking reception and awards ceremony for the poster presentations.

This is just a snapshot of what's in store for conference-goers. Watch for detailed symposium and registration information in upcoming issues throughout 2010. We'll see you in Nashville!
