Dear Colleague,

As nurses, our career options are so varied – more than almost any other career. Staff nursing, office nursing, correctional nursing, hospice, critical care, management, advanced practice, legal consulting, publishing….I could go on, but I think you get the idea! Of course, there are also all the different settings where nurses practice, from hospitals to schools to homes to military sites, and all the places in between. I feel so lucky to be part of this profession and so lucky to have so many choices. We’ve had quite a few great articles published over the past year which explore the many available career options for nurses. Take a look at the articles in More Resources – they are all free for you to read! Also, the Nursing2009 Career Directory and American Journal of Nursing Career Guide from earlier this year have some wonderful resources. Enjoy!
