In the article titled "Linear regression: A beginner's guide for nursing research," published on pages of Vol 53 No 9 of Nursing2023, under heading "Linear regression," the last sentence of the second paragraph should read: "The intercept, where the regression line crosses the Y-axis, is the value of Y when X equals zero."

The sentence has been corrected in the version online.
