This presentation describes skin anatomy and physiology and new information on how aging effects skin structure and function. It also demonstrates how diabetes accelerates the aging process of skin, as well as other soft tissue organs. It teaches why diabetes accelerates ulcer risk and why and how specific interventions reduce that risk. A new fresh look into the function of skin is discussed.
