February is American Heart
Month! The American Heart Association (AHA), publishing partner
of LWW, along with the U.S. Department of Health and Human
Services, encourages everyone to wear red on Friday, February
5, 2010 in support of women's heart disease awareness. This
is part of the Go
Red For Women initiative, designed to raise heart
disease awareness and prevent cardiovascular disease and related
conditions in women.
