Abstract

This article examines the spectrum of care for elderly individuals participating in aquatic therapy and their wellness and fitness. The skills, education, training, and regulatory requirements are explored for each discipline in the continuum of care. A case study demonstrates the role of each discipline and how each contributes to the independence and health of an elderly individual.
