Abstract

ABSTRACT: The present study reports on the translation, cultural adaptation and validation of the Evidence-Based Practice Readiness Survey into the Greek language. Back-translation strategy for cross-cultural research was used to translate the questionnaire into Greek. The psychometric measurements that were performed included: reliability coefficients and explanatory factor analysis using a Varimax Rotation and Principal Components Method. In a further step, confirmatory analysis of the principal components was conducted. The internal consistency of the Greek Evidence-Based Practice Readiness Survey version, as assessed by the Cronbach's alpha coefficient, showed satisfactory results. The value for alpha was found equal to 0.85. The explanatory and confirmatory factor analysis demonstrated a four-factor structure of the tool.
