Abstract
Abstract: Today's healthcare environment is increasingly complex and provides significant challenges to nurses and patients alike. It is imperative that nurses strive to understand the diversity of their patients and coworkers to provide optimum care. One essential component of nursing practice is the ability to provide Culturally Competent Care (CCC). This article outlines several aspects of CCC and organizational efforts that support good nursing practice through staff education.
