Abstract
Developing partnerships is not only an important competency of community health nursing; it is also a teaching strategy.The authors describe a partnership model for teaching nursing students to promote the health of communities. Building a foundation, launching the placement, living the placement, and evaluation comprise the 4-stage partnership model.The authors describe how each stage was implemented.
