Abstract
ABSTRACT: An advanced degree can expand knowledge and skills, enhance work performance, improve earning potential, increase contributions to the field, and promote a sense of accomplishment. This article provides nurses with a list of factors to consider prior to pursuing an advanced degree, and offers information on available master's and doctoral programs.
