It gives me great pleasure to formally acknowledge and congratulate recipients of the 2020 Articles of the Year. Articles published in 2020, specifically Volumes 16(1)-16(4), were considered for each of the awards. The award-winning articles were selected by members of the Journal of Forensic Nursing Editorial Board based on their innovation, significance, approach, potential impact, and overall writing.

Three articles were selected for recognition from the 2020 publishing year.

Education Article of the Year

Hornor, G. (2020). Child labor trafficking essentials for forensic nurses. Journal of Forensic Nursing, 16(4), 215-223.

Research Article of the Year

Paradis-Gagne, E., Holmes, D., & Perron, A. (2020). Experiences of family violence committed by relatives with severe mental illness: A grounded theory. Journal of Forensic Nursing, 16(2), 108-117.

Clinical Article of the Year

Stanley, S., Rutty, G., & Rutty, J. (2020). Postmortem computed tomography: An overview for forensic nurses involved in death investigation. Journal of Forensic Nursing, 16(2), 99-107.

Award recipients would normally be acknowledged during the International Association of Forensic Nurses' International Conference on Forensic Science and Practice. Unfortunately, given the ongoing concern regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, we will not be meeting in person to celebrate their achievements. Please join me in congratulating these worthy recipients.
