Go Red for Women is an initiative from the AHA to promote awareness of women's heart health. Cardiovascular disease kills one in three women each year, and Go Red for Women encourages women to take action to prevent their risk of heart disease. This initiative provides the latest research on heart health, organizes annual events like the Heart Walk, and offers volunteer opportunities for community support and advocacy.

American Stroke Association (ASA)

The ASA promotes helpful information on avoiding stroke, which is the second leading cause of death and disability globally. ASA advocates for removing healthcare barriers and improving access to care. Highlighting the value of "knowledge is power" the ASA develops resources for healthcare professionals and fact sheets for patients.

Pulmonary Hypertension Association (PHA)

Empowered by hope, the PHA connects people and families affected by pulmonary hypertension (PH) and healthcare professionals to promote education, advocacy, and in-depth research. The PHA holds an annual symposium to promote PH research and professional networking, fundraising events, and state-level support groups. The Association's #Heart2CurePH Campaign uses social media to educate people about PH, which is too often misdiagnosed as asthma.
