AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF) has named Homayoon Khanlou, MD, as Chief of Medicine, US. Dr. Khanlou served as AHF's Associate Director of Medicine, Regional Medical Director of Western Region, AHF's Associate Director of Research, and Medical Director and attending physician for the San Fernando Valley and Antelope Valley Healthcare Centers. Dr. Khanlou also served as Chair of the Pharmacy and Therapeutic Committee at AHF. Dr. Khanlou is a clinical researcher whose work has been published in the New England Journal of Medicine and the Archives of Internal Medicine. He has practiced at Albert Einstein Medical Center, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Queen of Angels-Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center, California Medical Center, Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, University of Los Angeles Medical Center, Cochin Hospital, Paris, France, and Joffre Hospital, Draveil, France. In addition to the duties of his new position, Dr. Khanlou will serve as AHF's Medical Director of Research and will continue as the attending physician at the San Fernando Valley Healthcare Center.
