As EUS programs continue to expand in community settings in response to the demand for this service, the how-to's of an EUS-fine needle aspirate (FNA) procedure can seem initially daunting. This hands-on presentation, packed with good tips for performing EUS, will build your confidence to get you "up and running" with ease and expertise. This course will include: set up for the EUS procedure, set up for the catheter based mini-probe procedure, set up and practice for making speciman slides and smears, balloon application and removal, handling standard and specialized needles for FNA collection, EUS "recipes" for EMR and chromoendoscopy, demonstration of team members performing FNA, and EUS scope care and processing.
