Many of us working in the healthcare profession have witnessed first hand how just one small break down in communication can affect patient care. Difficult conversations take both skill and courage, and can be increasingly challenging when there are high stakes. Being able to openly and directly address conflict and safely express opinions will increase your satisfaction at work as well as satisfaction in personal areas of your life. This interactive session will explore how to transform a culture of silence into a culture of candid and respectful dialogue by using proven methods of communication and influence, setting clear expectations, and identifying behaviors that can stifle candid communication.
