Hi! It is a pleasure to share with you that the JNR has recently made significant progress toward Social Sciences Citation Index (SSCI) listing! Please watch for updates in the near future. The international exposure increasingly earned by the JNR shows that our journal is about much more than updating evidence related to healthcare. It is also about enhancing and promoting the quality of the science and methodologies used in Taiwan healthcare research.

This special issue includes eight articles that address a diverse set of issues currently at the center of attention in the nursing profession. Titles include "The Experiences of Taiwanese Women Who Have Experienced Domestic Violence," "Perceptions of Exercise in Obese School-Aged Children," "Predictors of Cigarette Smoking Behavior Among Military University Students in Taiwan," "Factors Related to Maternal Perception of Milk Supply While in the Hospital," "Spiritual Intelligence of Nurses in Two Chinese Social Systems: A Cross-Sectional Comparison Study," "A Study of Job Stress, Stress Coping Strategies, and Job Satisfaction for Nurses Working in Middle-Level Hospital Operating Rooms," "Factors Associated With Behavior Modification for Cardiovascular Risk Factors in Patients With Coronary Artery Disease in Northern Taiwan," and "An Exploration of Quality of Life and Related Factors Among Female Flight Attendants." The first two articles employ qualitative research designs (Colaizzi's descriptive phenomenological method and content analysis, respectively). The remaining six use cross-sectional questionnaire research designs. The issues addressed in these articles are all relevant and interesting. However, we realize that in the pursuit of expanding nursing knowledge, methodologies used still have room for improvement.

Please enjoy reading this issue and have a wonderful Mid-Autumn Festival!
