VA/DoD Clinical Practice Guideline for the Management of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (2023)

This is a summary of the VA/DoD Clinical Practice Guideline for the Management of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (2023), which was developed as a general guide to the treatment and management of patients with type 2 diabetes. The guideline panel consisted of 40 experts representing the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and the Department of Defense (DoD). These guidelines are an update of the previous 2017 version that was published by these same two organizations.
