Abstract
ABSTRACT: A nurse with hyperemesis gravidarum, a rare complication of pregnancy, faced risk of death. She relays her agonizing experience and how she and her husband made the difficult decision to abort her baby. She offers insight into how to nurture, care and support women and families when pregnancy complications occur.
