Article Content

This issue contains an interesting ethics article regarding the practice of rapid weight loss through enteral feedings, certainly a thought-provoking topic that merits consideration. Our continuing education article also addresses a thought-provoking topic: horizontal hostility, which is another way of describing peer-on-peer hostility in the workplace. This topic is timely in light of the apparent continuing trend of violence in our hospitals and its potential to negatively impact patient safety as well as the safety of our health care workers. Both of these topics are timely and important for nurse managers and administrators to be aware of. As always, we welcome your thoughts and feedback. E-mail me at [email protected] with your thoughts on these topics.
