I'm trying to learn as much as I can about the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services's plans for a new payment plan for cancer care. So I spoke to Ted Okon, Executive Director of the Community Oncology Alliance (COA), which has been pushing for delivery and payment reform in cancer care for years. We talked just a few days before COA announced its Oncology Medical Home pilot, and he noted that COA and CMS have similar ideas of what the future should look like.
