According to this study:
* Treatment of urban children with attention deficit-hyperactivity disorder may be improved by using lay care managers trained in techniques to help parents deal with the behavioral health system.
* Because this study looked at only one community, and because numbers were low, further research is needed to determine which parts of the intervention were responsible for its success.
