On the skin there, intertriginous,

 

Would I say it erythematous?

 

I wouldn't dare to dream of it,

 

Stimulating symptoms of pruritus,

 

More likely I would say t'was dermatitis,

 

Prob'ly from something that was biting us,

 

Sarna up and leave it 'lone,

 

Or try some hydrocortizone.

 

Otherwise there's things by mouth,

 

If unresolved by nothing else.

 

A few days or weeks it will last,

 

For this, too, it shall soon pass.
