Abstract
Recently, there was a very good article published in Nursing 2002 (see above citation). This study used a survey approach with a simple of 3,282 nurses. The nurses were asked to complete a survey that was used to provide the subject with a possible tool for self-evaluation about pain management. In addition, the tool was used to provide educators with critical information to assist them when they are teaching the concept of pain management. The purpose of this article is to provide an overview of the findings of this critical study.
